Hong Kong Day 1: To Lantau Island

We woke up early this morning and now excited to see Hong Kong during the first hours of the day. Since we already arrived at the hotel late last night, I haven’t slept that much. It’s kinda awful to have just 5 hours of sleep!

But would you think this beautiful Nathan Road at Tsim Sha Tsui, can still make you feel sleepy and wanna go back to bed to extend few more hours once you see it? I don’t think so.

And how about Salisbury Road?

After enjoying a short walk along some of Tsim Sha Tsui’s hotspot, we decided to go to McDonalds for breakfast since that’s the only store that opens as early as 7AM, aside from 7-Eleven of course. I ate  macaroni and egg soup.

After finishing our express but sumptuous meal at Mcdo, we immediately headed to Tsim Sha Tsui Station to catch a train to Lantau Island.

How to Get to Lantau Island from Tsim Sha Tsui:

Take MTR Tsuen Wan Line and alight at Lai King Interchange Station.

At Lai King Interchange Station

From there, you can take another train to Tung Chung.

Here is a short video clip of our travel to Tung Chung:

Once you reach Tung Chung, exit at Exit B. From there, you can now see the cable car terminal which I think just around 100 meters away from the station.

As you walk closer to the cable car ticketing area, you will see this escalators / stairs welcoming you.

As what it says: Sky-Land-Sea Adventure starts here.

Next thing to do: enjoy!
